The project "RE at Sea" collects data from offshore wind turbine projects and upcoming initiatives in Havnaturfonden, which is made available in relevant professional systems.
To meet the need for access to marine data, Danmarks Miljøportal, in collaboration with the Danish Energy Agency, the Danish Environmental Protection Agency, the Danish Agency for Green Area Conversion, GEUS, and Energinet, has launched four projects under Havnaturfonden.
The projects include:
Collection and publication of data from offshore wind projects and upcoming initiatives under Havnaturfonden,
Guidance and updates to domain-specific systems for reporting marine data,
A unified platform for accessing marine data and guidance materials.
In its first delivery, the project has expanded EA-Tools with a “Marine Profile,” which presents marine data to support area screening. This includes, among other things, the display of data from international organizations, made available through the Danmarks Miljøportal's data catalog.
