Rottehullet and Rottedatabasen will be updated on 11. June with improvements and new data from the private pest control, including data on mice.
Danmarks Miljøportal, 4. Juni 2025
With the new upgrade, Rat Expert Group has focused on strengthening the user-friendliness of the new design, as well as gaining access to show the Danish Environmental Protection Agency's (Miljøstyrelsens) reports in Rottehullet for Municipalities with login.
The municipalities will therefore have access to the same reports that are available on the Danish Environmental Protection Agency's website directly in Rottehullet via their login.
We will also have new data in the database in the future. From 11 June, it will be possible to register the fight against mice via Bekæmpersitet and its services.
The users will experience some common features from Appendix 6, which must be filled in on rat control, but for mice, it will be a more "easy" form on the Control Site that must be filled in.
The executive order has only made it mandatory to report the control of mice with anticoagulants, but we have also made it possible to report the second method and non-toxic control in the Pest Control Site and its services.
The executive order has made the reporting mandatory as of 1 July, but fighters can see the change as early as 11 June in Bekæmpersitet.
The new data has also given rise to some wishes to filter the search for the animal that is being controlled, and there will be some ongoing clean-up in the user interface in connection with help texts in Bekæmpersitet and Rottehullet, which have so far only dealt with reporting and reporting of rat control.
Other improvements have been made to the Rat Systems and it has been requested by users of the control site, for example, to be shown a flyover photo of the control, so that you can better see vegetation and the conditions in the area around your control. Therefore, the Rat Expert Group has developed a view that can switch in the lower left corner between the grey background map and an orthophoto.
The solution has been developed for both Rottehullet and Bekæmpersitet, so that municipalities can also see it on the reviews.
If there is an additional need for what data you want to see on maps in the control, the professional group would like to hear about wishes for this from the users.
The Rat Expert Group has worked to improve the reporting in Rottehullet. In the wake of this initiative, the professional group has developed a display for the municipalities in Rottehullet that corresponds to the Danish Environmental Protection Agency's reports from the MST.dk website.
This is to make the reports more accessible in the user interface for the municipalities.
