Danmarks Miljøportal, 19. Maj 2025

The Danish Environmental Portal is looking for an experienced IT project manager who can navigate complex stakeholder landscapes and help shape the environmental data solutions of the future.

About the job

In the Projects and Business Development team, you will have a central role in project management of development projects that contribute directly to the green tripartite, climate adaptation, biodiversity and the transition to a circular economy. The team was established in May 2024 and is in full swing building and further developing the Environmental Portal's hybrid project model.

Your tasks will consist of:

  • Management of complex IT projects with many stakeholders and different agendas.
  • Contribute to the development and consolidation of our hybrid project model with a focus on progress and benefits rather than documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with municipalities, regions, the state, companies and interest groups.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who:

  • Have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in managing IT projects.
  • Have an overview and the ability to prioritize the most important elements of a project.
  • Have strong communication and collaboration skills as well as natural leadership skills.
  • Thrive in an organization with great responsibility and many opportunities.
  • Have experience with or interest in the environmental area – this is a plus, but not a requirement.

You do not need to have formal project management certifications, but experience and results are highly valued.

Who are we?

Denmark's Environmental Portal is owned by all of Denmark's municipalities, regions and the state. We are 25 employees and collaborate with approx. 40 permanent external consultants. We have a strong culture characterized by professionalism, helpfulness and flexibility.

We work purposefully to deliver user-friendly and efficient solutions, and we take advantage of the opportunities in Microsoft Azure, among other things, to put environmental data into play in new ways.

Salary and terms of employment

Salary and terms of employment are in accordance with the collective agreement in force at any given time between the Ministry of Taxation and a number of Akademiker organisations for academics in the state (the Akademiker collective agreement).
