News from Danmarks Miljøportal

As we enter 2026, we do so with a common digital environmental foundation that is stronger, more cohesive, and applied than ever before.

Now municipalities can easily find inspiration for land-use planning, as inspiration lists from the project ASK by the National Association of Local Authorities (KL) can be found in the joint public portal Danmarks Arealinformation.

A private-public collaboration between Denmark's Environmental Portal and Green Power Denmark has resulted in a new solution that will make it easier for smaller grid companies in particular to take environmental considerations into account early in the planning of cables and transformer stations, among other things.

How can AI and public data help promote nature in cities? This is the question that Gismap is working on – and here Danmarks Miljøportal plays an important role. 

We are experiencing growing international interest in the work of Danmarks Miljøportal with environmental data and digital solutions that support the green transition. Therefore, we are pleased to present a new English-language version of our website.

Danmarks Miljøportal is now launching Synergikort - a new digital platform that provides inspiration for planning and makes it easier to find the most suitable areas for area initiatives in Denmark.

We look forward to meeting our users again this year at the Environmental Portal's user seminar, this year on the tracks Nature, Decision Support and Water. 

Rottehullet and Rottedatabasen will be updated on 11. June with improvements and new data from the private pest control, including data on mice.

Visit the first version of Artsdata, the new version of Naturdata. Development of Artsdata is ongoing, but data on aquatic species is available in the new system.

Danmarks Miljøportal is proud to welcome Klimaskovfonden to the data collaboration. They contribute with the layer "Klimaskovfondens projekter”, which can be found across systems of Danmarks Miljøportal.
