We are proud to announce that Miljøportalen has been nominated for the Digitalisation Award 2026 in the Coherence Award category. The nomination is by MARS together with SGAV, in addition, DMI's national warning system is also nominated, to which Danmarks Miljøportal contributes.

Banedanmark is in the process of installing 1200 sensors in nature, which they expect to be up by the end of 2026. But the current 2-300 sensors have already averted problems, including from a nationally known beaver. At the same time, municipalities and research institutions are eager to get their hands on the meters' data, which is shared freely on Danmarks Miljøportal.

A new digital solution strengthens workflows and data quality in the national groundwater monitoring.

The future monitoring of water quality will be tested in Copenhagen as part of a larger EU project. In the project, Denmark is at the forefront of developing new measurement methods and a digital infrastructure that can set a new standard for water quality management in European cities. At the Danish Water Conference, the project's key players will meet.

Danmarks Miljøportal l is now making four new research-based potential maps available. The maps have been developed in the national research and innovation project TRANSFORM, and will help decision-makers find the most suitable areas to convert in connection with the green tripartite agreement.

Now municipalities can easily find inspiration for land-use planning, as inspiration lists from the project ASK by the National Association of Local Authorities (KL) can be found in the joint public portal Danmarks Arealinformation.

DMI is launching a new warning system that makes it possible to warn citizens and emergency services up to a day before flooding from rivers and lakes hits. Danmarks Miljøportal has provided a database and IoT standard for the warning system.

How can AI and public data help promote nature in cities? This is the question that Gismap is working on – and here Danmarks Miljøportal plays an important role. 

Danmarks Miljøportal is now launching Synergikort - a new digital platform that provides inspiration for planning and makes it easier to find the most suitable areas for area initiatives in Denmark.

Visit the first version of Artsdata, the new version of Naturdata. Development of Artsdata is ongoing, but data on aquatic species is available in the new system.

Danmarks Miljøportal is proud to welcome Klimaskovfonden to the data collaboration. They contribute with the layer "Klimaskovfondens projekter”, which can be found across systems of Danmarks Miljøportal.
