Trine Bødker joins the Board of Directors of the Danish Environmental Portal

Danmarks Miljøportal strengthens its board work with the appointment of Trine Bødker, Deputy Director General of the Danish Environmental Protection Agency, as a new board member.

Trine Bødker comes with a solid managerial background in government management, administration and strategic management - competencies that are central to the continued development of Danmarks Miljøportal. At the beginning of April, she took up the position of deputy director with responsibility for staff functions and the Center for Safe Chemistry, which works with the regulation of chemicals and pesticides, among other things.

Danmarks Miljøportal is owned by the state, the regions and the municipalities. The Danish Environmental Protection Agency is a key player in the collaboration behind the Miljøportal and actively contributes to the development, quality assurance and use of common environmental data. Cooperation is crucial to ensure an informed basis for decision-making and effective, coherent environmental management across authorities and sectors.

About her joining the board, Trine Bødker says:

"I look forward to becoming part of the board of Danmarks Miljøportal and to contributing to the important work of developing and strengthening our common environmental data. Collaboration across authorities is crucial for us to be able to support an effective green transition, and here the Miljøportal plays a key role."

About the Board of Directors

The board of Danmarks Miljøportal determines the overall strategic direction and is responsible for finances, operations and organisation. At the same time, the board must ensure that the Miljøportal continues to develop as a robust and up-to-date digital infrastructure that supports innovation, data sharing and user-friendly solutions for the benefit of authorities, citizens and the business community.

The Board of Directors makes all significant decisions regarding Danmarks Miljøportal, including the overall direction, finances, operating conditions and organisation. The board acts as management for the secretariat and has the overall responsibility for the Miljøportal.
